Deadly Storm Hits New Hampshire

Authorities say heavy winds tore through Epsom in southeastern New Hampshire, and demolished about half a dozen houses, killing one person.

Officials say there are other injuries and authorities are going door to door to rescue residents who may be trapped.

About 35-hundred customers are without power. The governor has declared a state of emergency in five New Hampshire counties.

Meantime, weather experts are trying to determine whether the storm that touched down was in fact a tornado. A tornado warning had been issued for the area.
