Wake Held for Lawrence Soldier

The remains of Army Staff Sergeant Alex Jimenez were returned to Lawrence, more than a year after he was kidnapped in Iraq.

A motorcade carrying the remains of the 25-year-old Jimenez traveled through the streets of Lawrence, where his father lives.

A public wake is being held in Lawrence. Jimenez will be buried in Long Island near his mother's home.
