Sen. Kennedy's Role

In a last-minute surprise move, Senator Edward Kennedy is expected to address the Democratic National Convention in Denver tonight.

Senator John Kerry electrified the Massachusetts delegation when he broke the news at a party late Sunday night, and Kennedy's appearance is expected to do the same for the crowd gathered for this, the first night of the convention. WBUR's Fred Thys reports.
