Decision Time for MA Delegation

At the Democratic National Convention in Denver tonight, Senator Hillary Clinton will take the stage.

Her speech is expected to draw into relief the close battle between her supporters, and those who back the presumptive nominee, Sen. Barack Obama.

Massachusetts primary voters strongly favored Clinton, and the state's delegation has many high profile Clinton supporters. Among them: Attorney General Martha Coakley, House Speaker Sal DiMasi, and Senate President Therese Murray.

WBUR's Fred Thys is covering the convention in Denver, and he joins WBUR'S Bob Oakes for a conversation this morning.

This program aired on August 26, 2008. The audio for this program is not available.
