Democrats are headed home after an historic last night of their convention in Denver, where Barack Obama became the first African American to accept the presidential nomination of a major party.
For Massachusetts delegates on Invesco Field at Mile-High Stadium, it was a night to reflect on an emotional week gone by and a night to look to the campaign work ahead.
For some delegates, it was a moment to consider a lifetime of dreams deferred. WBUR's Fred Thys was on the field with the Massachusetts delegation, and joins WBUR's Bob Oakes to talk about their reactions.
