Today was supposed to be the big kickoff of the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota, but along came Gustav.

Yesterday the presumptive GOP nominee, John McCain asked the Party to cancel most of today's scheduled events, and focus instead on helping those who are in the path of Hurricane Gustav.
