GOP Convention's Schedule Modified As Gustav Nears

Republican presidential candidate John McCain has instructed his party to tone down the festivities for this week's convention because of Hurricane Gustav. McCain says only those activities that are "absolutely necessary" will take place on the opening day. On a side note: it's not the first time the Republican National Convention has been held in St. Paul. Benjamin Harrison was nominated there in 1892. (WBUR)
