Mass. Wins Waiver Extension

Massachusetts has won an extension of a federal waiver that allows it to bypass rules on how it spends Medicaid money.

The waiver is seen as crucial to the funding of the state's landmark health care reform law. And, as WBUR's Steve Brown reports, the agreement detailed Tuesday injects billions of federal dollars into Massachusetts.
