Delahunt's Constituents, on Bailout

The Senate has passed a financial bailout bill, paving the way for the House to vote again, possibly Friday. By 74 to 25 last night, the Senators approved a revised version of the $700 billion package the Representatives had rejected on Monday.

Among those who then voted against the bailout were three Massachusetts Congressmen, including Bill Delahunt of Quincy.

While there's been a lot in the bailout debate of rhetoric about "Wall Street and Main Street," in Quincy, that would be Hancock Street. We sent WBUR's Meghna Chakrabarti there to measure the mood.

This program aired on October 2, 2008. The audio for this program is not available.
