Economists Advise Mass. Lawmakers

This is not the 1930s, but the economy is bad and it will get worse. That's the forecast from economic advisers on Beacon Hill.

They told lawmakers Monday that the state needs to prepare for more cuts, hope for the best, and save more in the future.
