Analysis With Payne & Domke

When George W. Bush's second term in office comes to an end in January, a Democrat will take control of the White House.

Barack Obama, who received 62 percent of the vote here in Massachusetts, takes office...not with a slim margin of victory, but an overwhelming one.

Obama picked up well over twice the number of electoral college votes as Republican John McCain.

WBUR's Bob Oakes reviewed the outcome of the race earlier this morning with our regular political consultants, Republican Todd Domke and Democrat Dan Payne. They both write for The Boston Globe.

This program aired on November 5, 2008. The audio for this program is not available.
