Gov. Patrick: 'Together We Can' Still Stands

Governor Deval Patrick struck a sober, but hopeful tone in his annual State of the State address before lawmakers on Beacon Hill last night.

Patrick used the major theme of his 2006 gubernatorial campaign to rally optimism, despite tough economic times:

PATRICK: I still have hope for the future of the Commonwealth and her people. I still believe, together we can.

So, are lawmakers ready to work together with the governor on some of the ideas he laid out last night?

As WBUR's Martha Bebinger reports, reaction to his agenda was mixed.
