House Finance Committee Looks At Mass. Businesses

Massachusetts' small businesses are the subject of a House Financial Services Committee congressional field hearing on Beacon Hill Monday morning.

Congressman Barney Frank, local business executives, and the president of the Boston Federal Reserve will all testify on the urgent need to find credit for small businesses.

Frank, who chairs the committee, has said in the next several months he hopes to begin writing legislation that will overhaul the way the government regulates the U.S. financial system.
