Globe And Major Union To Meet Monday
The fight between the owner of The Boston Globe and the paper's largest union enters a new round this week.
On Monday, leaders of the Boston Newspaper Guild will meet with management to discuss the implementation of a 23 percent pay cut.
The owner, The New York Times Co., said to save the Globe, it needed to make the cut along with winning concessions from other unions.
The guild is appealing the cut to the National Labor Relations Board.
