VP Biden, Schwarzenegger Among Shriver Funeral Mass Invitees

Vice President Joe Biden is expected to join Eunice Kennedy Shriver's family and friends to bid final farewell to the founder of the Special Olympics in a Massachusetts church long associated with her family.

An invitation-only funeral Mass set for 10 a.m. Friday at Saint Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church in Hyannis will feature traditional Irish music and eulogies from her grandchildren, son-in-law, California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, and others. The Web site eunicekennedyshriver.org will be streaming the event.

Shriver, the sister of President John F. Kennedy and Massachusetts Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, died Tuesday morning at Cape Cod Hospital at age 88.

On Thursday night, Family members celebrated her as a passionate humanitarian and a pious woman devoid of vanity, hours after thousands of mourners flocked to Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church during a public wake.
