Hearing, Election Set for Kennedy Seat

Legislators announced they'll hold a public hearing Sept. 9 to determine whether an interim replacement can be appointed to fill the seat left vacant by the death of Sen. Kennedy. A special election to decide Kennedy's permanent replacement will be held Jan. 19. Read WBUR's full story.
