Obama To Voters: Brown's Truck Heading Backwards

Here's Paul Krugman, of The New York Times, blogging on "the outrage gap," heading into tomorrow's special election, and pointing to a newly surfaced video clip featuring Republican Scott Brown suggesting that Barack Obama was born out of wedlock.

Meanwhile, Obama was at Northeastern yesterday imploring voters to support Democrat Martha Coakley. WBUR's Monica Brady- Myerov reports that Obama railed on Brown's ubiquitous truck, which the President said is heading "backwards" on the road to progress.

Still, if Coakley loses, Democrats in Congress are considering a backup plan to pass health care reform legislation, reports David Herszenhorn, of The Times.
