Massachusetts House Speaker Robert DeLeo plans to show his hand Thursday in the high-stakes gambling debate.

It is already known that the speaker favors two resort-style casinos for Massachusetts, as well as slot machines at the state's four racetracks.

Thursday he will reveal more in his gambling bill. Reportedly, DeLeo will recommend capping the slots at 1,000 per track and he will call for a 25 percent tax rate on casino revenues.

Those proposals were reported by Jim O'Sullivan of State House News Service, who joined WBUR Thursday to discuss the latest gambling legislation.

This program aired on April 1, 2010.
