Mass. Lt. Gov. Murray To Be Released From Hospital

A spokesman says Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Timothy Murray has been found in good health after a battery of medical tests and will be released from the hospital.

Spokesman Kyle Sullivan said Murray will leave St. Vincent Hospital in his hometown of Worcester on Wednesday and return to his regular activities.

Sullivan said the 42-year-old Murray decided to seek medical attention Monday evening after experiencing some discomfort in his chest.

Weekend temperatures peaked at more than 90 degrees, and Murray had a busy schedule: July 4th holiday parades in Auburn, Sturbridge, Plymouth, Duxbury and Chelmsford.

Murray, a Democrat, is seeking re-election with Gov. Deval Patrick.
