Mass. Lt. Gov. Murray Released From Hospital

Lt. Gov. Timothy Murray has been released from St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

Murray left the hospital Wednesday at noon after spending two nights there because he experienced some discomfort in his chest.

Murray said a battery of medical tests found that he was in good health.

The 42-year-old Murray said he decided to seek medical attention Monday evening because he did not feel like himself and checked into St. Vincent Hospital.

Murray said he needs to make sure going forward that he keeps hydrated and does not overextend himself.

Murray had marched in several July Fourth weekend parades in temperatures of more than 90 degrees.

He is seeking re-election this fall with Gov. Deval Patrick.
