Whistleblower Nurse Sues Over Firing

Peg O'Connor seems like just the kind of seasoned, do-it-right nurse you hope will be caring for you when you're stuck in the hospital. But O'Connor says that after she did the right thing at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth — reporting the hospital to federal authorities for failing to handle a pregnant patient properly — she was fired, after more than 38 years of service. She's now suing the hospital, and talks about her case in this Boston Globe video (with annoying ads first.)
