In case you missed it: On Labor Day, WBUR's Bob Oakes spoke with Veronica Turner about efforts to unionize service, technical and clerical workers at the big Harvard teaching hospitals. Turner is executive vice president of local 1199 of the Service Employees International Union in Boston.

Oakes asked if Turner expects an "acrimonious fight" at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Turner replied that "as long as he [CEO Paul Levy] is leading that facility, I believe that it will be a fight."

This program aired on September 7, 2010. The audio for this program is not available.
