Two Victims Of Boston Slaying Laid To Rest

A young mother and her young son killed in a shooting in Boston are being laid to rest.

The funeral for 21-year-old Eyanna Flonory and 2-year-old Amani Smith is scheduled to take place at Morning Star Baptist Church on Wednesday morning.

They will be buried together in the same coffin following the ceremony.

Flonory and the little boy were two of four people killed in a shooting in the city's Mattapan neighborhood in the early morning hours of Sept. 28 that outraged the community and city leaders. A fifth victim remains hospitalized.

Flonory's boyfriend, Simba Martin, was buried on Tuesday.

One man has been charged in connection to the slayings, but he has not been charged with murder.
