Aides Say They Did Not Pass Cahill Info

Three former aides to independent candidate for governor Timothy Cahill have submitted sworn testimony saying they didn't pass on confidential information regarding Cahill's campaign.

On Wednesday, Norfolk Superior Court Judge Susan Garsh granted Cahill's request for an injunction barring the former aides from distributing confidential campaign materials.

She also ruled the ex-aides must submit affidavits explaining whether they've given any of that information to other parties, including the Republican Governors Association and the campaign of Republican Charles Baker.

On Thursday John Yob, John Weaver and Adam Meldrum submitted the testimony.

Meldrum has said the lawsuit was an attempt by Cahill to prevent him from exposing potential campaign law violations.
