Analysis: Local, National Issues Mix In Mass. Congressional Races

Though we're now less than two weeks away from Election Day, it's anybody's guess just how things will turn out.

The editor and publisher of the Rothenberg Political Report, Stuart Rothenberg, told NPR this week he is "haunted" by the prospect of predicting races in the U.S. House. Republicans are expecting big gains and think they'll take control of the chamber. Democrats are hoping to retain the House.

So, how "haunting" are the congressional races in Massachusetts? WBUR's political analysts, Democrat Dan Payne and Republican Todd Domke, joined Morning Edition Wednesday to help size up the races.
