Blizzard 2010 Is Over — Now It's Cleanup Time

The blizzard of 2010 is officially over, but a huge cleanup remains. Traffic crews have cleared most of the major roadways and are working their way to smaller side streets.

Officials are still asking people to stay off the roads as much as possible for the remainder of Monday as high winds are still making travel difficult in many areas.

Scott McCloud, a spokesman for the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, is asking people to check on their neighbors.

"If you've cleared your driveway and you know you have neighbors who may need some additional assistance, be a good neighbor — go knock on the door and see if there's anything they need," McCloud said.

Doctors are also reminding people that the snow is extremely heavy, and they're warning people to use extra caution while shoveling.
