Unruly US Airways Passenger Faces Arraingnment After Flight Interference

Ognjen Milatovic, 37, is being arraigned Monday on charges of disorderly conduct and interfering with a flight crew. An airport spokesman said Milatovic was arrested after refusing to take his seat and other passengers reported that he had placed a suspicious item in the overhead bin.

Logan International Airport spokesman Phil Orlandella said Milatovic refused the flight crew's request to hang up his cell phone and sit down on the Reagan National Airport-bound flight on Monday morning.

Officials removed the passenger as well as his carry-on luggage that was allegedly making odd noises. His checked piece of luggage also was removed. Orlandella said no threat was found.

The flight later departed without incident.
