Boston Woman Accused Of Having Cocaine In Diaper

A Boston woman accused of trying to smuggle 1,000 grams of cocaine inside what police describe as a 'diaper-like garment' she was wearing is facing arraignment.

State police say 22-year-old Karen Morla Ramos is scheduled to be arraigned on drug charges Monday.

Police say Ramos arrived at Boston's Logan International Airport on a flight from the Dominican Republic on Sunday.

Customs officials, suspicious about the inconsistent answers she gave about her travel, frisked her and found the cocaine hidden in an undergarment.

She was held on $100,000 bail pending arraignment. It was not clear if she had hired a lawyer.
