5 Mass. Students Hurt In Whale-Watching Boat
Five students have been taken to a hospital with minor injuries after a large wave struck a whale-watching boat off Provincetown.
Barnstable High School principal Patrick Clark said five students from his school were aboard the Hyannis-based boat "Whale Watcher" was hit Monday morning by the rogue wave. He said the injuries were not life threatening. The students are being transported to Cape Cod Hospital.
Officials said the boat was not damaged and is being taken back to Barnstable Harbor.
Clark said 47 Barnstable High School students were on the boat for a science field trip.
