Walmart is reportedly looking to open a store in Roxbury. According to the Boston Business Journal, Walmart is looking at several potential sites in Roxbury.

Mayor Thomas Menino has long been opposed to the retailer opening a location in the city, saying it could force smaller stores out of business.

Walmart has not yet returned calls for comment.
