2 Dead, 3 Hurt In Boston Shooting

BOSTON — Police say three people have been shot in a Boston apartment, two of them fatally.

A 43-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy were found shot in their Roslindale home at about 3:45 a.m. Sunday. They were taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead.

A 34-year-old man survived and was taken to the hospital with injuries police said were not life-threatening.

No names were made public.

Neighbors say the two dead victims were mother and son.

There was no immediate word on a motive or arrests.

There have now been 34 homicides in the city this year.
