This article is more than 11 years old.

Authorities have released the identities of three men whose bodies were found in a Waltham apartment this week.

Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone and Waltham Police Chief Thomas LaCroix said the victims are 25-year-old Brandon Mess of Waltham, 31-year-old Eric Weissman of Cambridge and 37-year-old Rapheal Teken of Cambridge.

Mess lived in the apartment where the killings took place.

The bodies were found Monday afternoon.

Officials have released few details about the killings. In a statement released Wednesday, Leone and LaCroix said it appears the victims knew their assailant or assailants and the attacks weren't random.
