Sen. Brown Hosting Jobs Fair In Boston

Sen. Scott Brown is pushing to bolster his re-election prospects by trying to make good on his promise to help put Massachusetts residents back to work.

Brown, who will run for re-election next year, is scheduled to host a daylong jobs fair on Friday at Roxbury Community College in Boston.

Brown said job seekers will have the chance to meet with 60 participating employers representing a cross-section of Massachusetts' industries, including trade organization and hospital groups.

Brown said the fair will also offer advice on resume writing and tips on interviewing techniques.

Since taking office last year, Brown has said his top focus in on jobs and job creation. The Massachusetts Republican has also endorsed portions of President Obama's jobs bill.
