3rd Suspect In Pittsfield Triple Slaying Arraigned

A third suspect in the slaying of three Pittsfield men has pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors say 44-year-old David Chalue of North Adams was ordered held without bail after pleading not guilty Wednesday to murder, kidnapping and witness intimidation charges in Berkshire Superior Court.

Authorities say Chalue was one of three men who killed David Glasser, Edward Frampton and Robert Chadwell then disposed of their bodies in Becket. They were found last month about two weeks after they disappeared.

Prosecutors say Glasser was killed to prevent him from testifying against another defendant, Adam Lee Hall, a member of the local Hells Angels chapter. Police say the other two victims were killed so there were no witnesses.

A fourth defendant is charged with helping dispose of the bodies.
