41,000 Mass. Residents Still Without Power

National Grid has about 23,000 customers still without power on Saturday. Western Massachusetts Electric Company reports 18,000 customers without power.

At the request of Gov. Deval Patrick, the Department of Public Utilities will investigate how power companies prepared for and responded to the massive power outages caused by last weekend's snowstorm.

The review will explore how the major utilities allocated available resources and how they communicated with residents and local community officials.
