Report Says A 5th Monkey Died In Harvard Program

Reports from federal investigators reveal that it's actually five monkeys from Harvard's primate research program that have died in the past two years — not four, as previously believed.

Four monkeys have died at Harvard's New England Primate Research Center in Southborough.

But federal inspection reports (PDF) indicate that another monkey died on the Harvard Medical School campus from an anesthesia overdose in July.
