The Red Sox have a special promotion going on today: All across Boston, the organization is arranging 100 balloons, each containing a pair of tickets to an upcoming home game.

Five of the balloons — which each say "Fenway Park: 100 Years" — contain tickets to Friday's game, which celebrates Fenway's centennial.

According to WBZ-TV, the Sox began arranging the balloons, 10 at a time, at 7:30 a.m., and the promotion runs until 3:30 p.m.

On its Twitter account, the organization is offering hints on balloon locations and passing along pictures of fans with their new tickets.

(H/T to WBUR Morning Edition PA Jack Lepiarz, who has been planning his citywide balloon-finding mission all morning.)

This program aired on April 18, 2012. The audio for this program is not available.
