Woman Dies In Bridgewater House Fire

One person has died in an early morning house fire in Bridgewater.

A spokeswoman for the state Fire Marshal's office, which has responded to the scene, confirmed the death.

Fire officials say the victim is a woman but no additional information is available.

The two-alarm blaze broke out around 6 a.m. Monday at a single-family ranch style home on Winter Street.

There was no immediate word on the cause.
