The Boston Celtics fell to the Miami Heat Saturday night in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Miami.

After holding the lead for most of the game, the C's were overpowered in the fourth quarter. They lost 101-88. The team had led by 11 points in the first half and were up by nine in the second, but they were outscored 28-15 in the final quarter, ending their dramatic playoff run.

Despite the disappointment, coach Doc Rivers is praising what he called "a terrific team effort by everybody."

The loss may mark the end of the "Big Three" era of Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. Allen and Garnett are free agents, and may not play for the team next season.

WBUR's Doug Tribou joined guest host Barbara Howard to discuss the Game 7 loss and the future of the Celtics organization.

This program aired on June 10, 2012.
