Missing Teenage Girl Found Dead
Authorities said they don't believe foul play was involved in the death of a 15-year-old girl whose body was discovered Sunday in Clinton.
Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. says searchers found the body of Mackenzie Hohl on Sunday afternoon in a small body of water behind the Hannaford Plaza on Brook Street. Family members and town residents had been trying to find the girl since she was reported missing on Friday.
Investigators say it appears she was walking on the railroad tracks behind the supermarket and fell at least 20 feet into the water. An autopsy is planned to establish the exact cause of death.
Clinton is located about 15 miles northeast of Worcester.
