Report: Boston-Born Casino Billionaire Donates $10M To Pro-Romney SuperPAC

In what appears to be the largest donation in support of Mitt Romney's bid for president to date, the Wall Street Journal reports that Dorchester native and casino billionaire Sheldon Adelson is donating $10 million to the pro-Romney superPAC, Restore Our Future.

Adelson has been the most generous donor of the presidential election so far and was a key contributor to a superPAC supporting former GOP candidate Newt Gingrich's failed campaign.

The Journal reports that Adelson, who is Jewish, wanted assurance that Romney would support Israel more strongly than President Obama, as a condition for the donation.
