Mass. Pending Home Sales Up Again
Pending single-family home sales in Massachusetts rose 29 percent in June, compared to the same month in 2011, newly released figures show.
That's the 14th straight month of year-over-year pending sale increases, according to the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, which reported the data Wednesday.
As the association said in its release:
Pending figures are a leading indicator of actual housing sales in Massachusetts for the following 2-3 months.
The number of condominiums put under agreement was also up 29 percent last month, compared to June 2011 — again the 14th straight month of year-over-year increases.
