A Massachusetts post office had to be evacuated after smoke bombs sent to a local resident from out of state ignited inside the building.
Police say the Norwell post office building filled with smoke after workers reported an explosion just before 9 a.m. The state bomb squad responded to the scene.
Workers were allowed back in the building at about noon.
There were no reports of injuries.
The state Fire Marshal's office is investigating.
Police did not name the company that mailed the package or identify the intended recipient.
