2 Men Killed In Separate Boston Shootings

BOSTON — Two men were fatally shot Monday evening in separate incidents in Boston's Dorchester and Mattapan neighborhoods, respectively, police said Tuesday.

At about 6:40 p.m. Monday, Boston Police responded to 57 Wheatland Ave. in Dorchester, where they found a 19-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, who has not yet been identified, was transported to Boston Medical Center and later pronounced deceased.

Then, just after 8:30 p.m. Monday, police responded to a separate incident, in the area of 57 Stanford St. in Mattapan. There, they discovered another 19-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, who has not yet been identified, was similarly transported to Boston Medical Center and later pronounced dead.
