The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is reaching out to investment bankers to try and drum up competition for the state's three casino licenses.

There are at least four casino developers eyeing Springfield but in Boston there's only been one bidder, Suffolk Downs.

The lack of competition has some concerned, including commission chairman Stephen Crosby, who joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss the decision.

This program aired on September 19, 2012.
