1 Dead, 3 Hurt In A Pair Of Boston Shootings

Police say one man is dead and two others are recovering from gunshot wounds after a late-night shooting in Boston.

Police say the victims were shot in the city's Dorchester section at about 10 p.m. Monday.

Officers patrolling nearby say they heard a dozen gunshots.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The others were brought to Boston Medical Center, one with a wound to the neck and one with a wound to the stomach. Both are expected to survive.

No names were released and police had no word on arrests.

Police say a man between 17 and 20 was shot earlier Monday in Roxbury. That person was in critical condition in a city hospital.

Police say the shootings are not related.
