2nd, 3rd Suspects Arrested In BU-Area Robberies

Update at 5:45 p.m.: A third suspect in the recent armed robberies has turned himself in to Brookline police.

"This third suspect is a juvenile and no additional information will be released on him," according to Brookline police.

The third suspect also faces two counts of armed robbery for incidents on Sept. 25 and Oct. 5.

A second suspect is under arrest in connection with a string of recent armed robberies near Boston University.

On Friday, Brookline police arrested and charged Taquari Milton, 17, of Roxbury, with two counts of robbery, associated with incidents on Sept. 25 and Oct. 5.

Milton is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.

Friday's charges follow the arrest of another juvenile suspect Thursday, a 15-year-old who turned himself in to Brookline police.

Brookline police say they have a third suspect identified.

In all, there have been four robberies in the last two weeks, with the most recent on Tuesday.

Following Tuesday's robbery, Boston University police on Wednesday released surveillance footage showing what appeared to be three young men.

The university announced it is offering a $10,000 reward following the spate of robberies.
