Mass. Authorities Seek Info About 2011 Killings

Nearly a year after a husband and wife were found shot to death in their Andover home, authorities are asking the public for help in the investigation.

John Magee Jr. and Geraldine Magee were found dead by their daughter on Dec. 14, 2011. The couple's torched SUV was found the previous night, 20 miles away in Boston. Magee was a prominent developer who specialized in luxury homes.

On Saturday, Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett and Andover Police Chief Brian Pattullo appealed to the public for information. In an email, Blodgett asked anyone who has information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to contact him and Pattullo.

"Often in a homicide investigation, there are people who have information but may not realize its relevance or importance to the investigation," Blodgett said. "At this point, any and all information is important."

"The Andover Police Department is determined to find those responsible for this horrific act," Pattullo said. "We are asking people to search their consciences and come forward with any information that they may have."
