Wednesday afternoon, we'll know whether several baseball players accused of using performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) will be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y.

The ballot is long this year, 37 candidates. Among the candidates are Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds and Sammy Sosa, who have all been accused of using PEDs.

To talk about this year's ballot, and the how alleged steroid use could affect the voting process, baseball writer and analyst Glenn Stout joined Morning Edition Tuesday.

This program aired on January 8, 2013.
