Boston Mayor Thomas Menino delivers his state of the city address Tuesday night at Faneuil Hall. Substance-wise, reports suggest the mayor will outline what's being called an "aggressive" agenda. But political watchers will also be looking closely to see how the mayor performs physically, following his recent long illness, to get a hint of whether Menino might run for reelection again later this year — or not.

Larry DiCara, former Boston City Council president and one-time candidate for mayor, spoke with Bob Oakes on Morning Edition to preview Menino's speech.

This program aired on January 29, 2013.
